Update:Temporary Delays Possible as QEH Continues Digital Transformation

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital thanks the public for its patience and understanding as we continue implementing the Universal National Health Information System (UNHIS).

As our teams adapt to new digital processes, patients may continue to experience longer-than-usual waiting times in Pharmacy Services, Medical Records, and Appointment Services*over the next two weeks.

To save time, eligible patients are encouraged to use the QEH Medication Delivery Service. For more information, call 536-4804.

Patients are also reminded that Category A medications are available at participating polyclinics. A list of these medications is available on the Barbados Drug Service website.

If you have questions or require assistance, please contact the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) at 536-4800 between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

We appreciate your continued patience and support as we work to deliver a more modern and efficient healthcare system.
