I just wanted to highlight the great care I received at Accident and Emergency Department of the QEH on 02/05/2023 from the 7 staff members who took care of me. They were all very professional and kind.

We mostly highlight the bad,but we should also highlight the good.

Not all heroes wear capes.

I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart.

On Saturday November 12th I delivered a bouncing baby boy thanks to your staff… I can’t remember every nurse but I remember [Nurse] Vickie she was such a sweetheart!

From the bottom of my heart I want to say thank you for the best delivery and labour experience.

My mom was admitted to Ward C6 after spending two days in the Accident & Emergency. While the wait was long it was offset by some of the personnel of the hospital which we encountered. I want to give kudos to the Security Guards and Orderlies personnel who were all very pleasant, professional, helpful, supportive and compassionate. I also want to commend your Patient Advocates and Patient Relation Officer in the A&E, (they are “God-sent”), as well as Nurses Worrell & Trotman.

There are no words to adequately describe the staff at Ward C6. It was an absolute pleasure to interact with them. Their care, compassion, discretion, professionalism, support, approach, willingness, helpfulness, patience, thoughtfulness, team approach, quick response, gave my family peace of mind that my mother was in their care. Mom always expressed how comfortable she felt being on the ward. I did not get all the names, but I want to make special mention of the Sister on the Ward, Sister Earle, as well as Nurses Clarke, Alleyne and Burgess.

I recognise how hectic the hospital can be 24/7, and yes there were some areas that I was dissatisfied with and certainly need improvement but my focus is not to pull down and criticize, (there is no lack of that going around without me adding to this imbalance), My focus is to say a heart-felt THANK YOU TO the hospital and all the staff who contributed in any way to my mother’s care during her four day experience.

I was admitted to the QEH on August 30th and while being a patient there, I met a patient relations advocate by the name of Shomari Joseph who made my 2 month stay felt a lot more shorter and manageable, both physically and emotionally. The professionalism and commitment that Ms. Joseph has displayed towards her work and caring for patients other than myself made it impossible for me to see or experience stigmas and horror stories that are often heard of or told about the QEH.

I sincerely cannot express enough gratitude to Shomari for all that she has done for me during that difficult period. I do hope that she will continue to offer this kind of stellar service to all other patients that she comes into contact with and furthermore, that her commitment and dedication be highlighted as the benchmark for the standard of service ought to be provided to patients at all times.

I have never visited the hospital before . But I must point out the professional help received from your front of house security Mr Patrick Pilgrim.

Outstanding young man representing the face of the QEH extremely well. He went out of his way to walk with me to the restaurant inside the QEH at 7AM. When we got there the restaurant was closed. He made some phone calls to find out why it was closed.

This is amazing customer service. Well done for employing him. He is definitely a star.

After a stressful wait of over 15 hours, this put a smile on my face. Also thanks to the staff of Ward A1 who attended to me.

I wish to thank Dr. Corey Forde for the concern, understanding, and help he showed me during my Covid isolation stay at Harrison Point and later at Sun Bay Isolation Hotel. Being a foreigner thrust ashore from a cruise ship without much preparation into your facility created quite a bit of anxiety which the staff and especially Dr. Forde were able to deal with by giving me a promised release date and sticking to it. I could then make airline reservations and have the release from isolation letter which allowed me to travel.

My sincere thanks to Dr. Forde and staff.

I just want to congratulate you on your improving services. I sent an email inquiring about how to find out my registration number, within seconds I received a phone call giving me the information. The young lady was very professional and kind I regret not having ask for her name.

Thank you very much, this sort of things mean so much when You are sick and vulnerable.

I want to take this time to thank your staff for the excellent service my wife and I had at the hospital from the morning of January 28 until January 30th. Special kudos to the security personnel and the staff of Ward B1 (private ward), especially the nurse who worked the shift that ended at 7am, and stayed with my wife until our bundle of joy came, even though her shift had ended.

We really appreciate and thank them for the most wonderful treatment received.

Hi there, I want to commend you on the position of patient relation officer you have created to help keep families connected and informed. I had my first experience today with Ms. Shamari Joseph and I must say she was very informative, compassionate and helpful.

Thank you for the privileges you have afforded me to connect with relatives overseas who may not otherwise be able to connect in a time when every face and smile and laughter counts. Keep the good work up!

I was very pleased to be the recipient of the high level of service rendered by one of your Patient Advocate Shane Straker.

I commend and thank her for the patience, kindness and time to assist me and ensuring that my problem was solved. she is an asset to your service. Thank you Shane and keep the good work up.
