QEH Annex Relocating To Coconut Walk, Hastings

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados — September 27, 2026: The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) advises patients and members of the public that the QEH Annex is relocating from its current location at the corner of 6th Avenue, Belleville, and Pine Road to Coconut Walk, Hastings, Christ Church.

The new QEH Annex will officially open on Monday, September 28, 2026, offering a more spacious and accommodating environment for patients accessing services.

Services at the new location will be arranged as follows:

• Ground Floor: Phlebotomy (Blood Draw) Services and EEG Services
• Upper Floor: Transitional Community Care Programme (TCCP)

The move represents an upgrade to the current QEH Annex footprint, providing improved accommodation for patients and staff. The Coconut Walk location is also situated along an easily accessible bus route, supporting convenient access for patients travelling to the facility.

The relocation forms part of the QEH Enmore Redevelopment Project and the Hospital’s wider transition to newer, more modern facilities under the QEH Strategy 2025–2028.

The QEH apologises for any inconvenience that may be experienced during the transition, particularly by patients who attend the Phlebotomy Clinic or access EEG services. We thank patients and members of the public for their understanding and cooperation as we prepare to enhance the delivery of these services in the new environment.

Patients scheduled to access Phlebotomy, EEG or TCCP services from Monday, September 28, 2026, should proceed to the new QEH Annex at Coconut Walk, Hastings, Christ Church.
