Having served as an isolation centre from January 3 to March 19, today the Blackman and Gollop (B&G) Primary School was officially decommissioned by Chief Operations Officer of the QEH, Louise Bobb, and turned over to Chief Education Officer in the Ministry of Education Technological and Vocational Training, Joy Adamson, in pristine condition. Also present for the handover were Principal, Petrona Holder; Head of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA), Tricia Augustine, and the former BG Isolation Facility Manager, Mr. Franz Jordan, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Health and Wellness, the Ministry of Education Technological and Vocational Training, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, and several members of the school’s PTA.
