QEH Resumes Elective Surgeries After Brief Suspension

At 8am, Wednesday April 10th , 2024, the Operating Theatres (OTs) at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital resumed elective surgical procedures after a brief suspension. During the suspension period, our medical teams worked around the clock to decant the recovery room to be able to accommodate immediate post-operative patients.

Patients affected by the suspension on Tuesday April 9 th 2024 have been re-scheduled for their procedures. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
