QEH Relocates Four Outpatient Clinics To George Street, Belleville

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital advises the public that four outpatient clinics have been relocated from the hospital’s premises to George Street, Belleville, directly opposite the Barbados Vocational Training Board:

The affected clinics are:

• Breast Screening Programme
• Diabetes Centre
• Orthopaedics Clinic
• Psychiatry Clinic

The clinics will begin operating from the new location on Monday, September 7, 2026, from 8:00 a.m.

Patients with appointments for these clinics from Monday are therefore asked to proceed to the new George Street location and not the previous outpatient clinic location.

The relocation forms part of preparations associated with the Enmore Redevelopment Project, which will facilitate construction of the approximately $400 million extension to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Important Notice for ENT Patients

The QEH also advises that Mr. Christopher Maynard’s 1:00 p.m. ENT Clinic has been cancelled.

The Hospital’s Medical Records team is contacting affected patients to reschedule their appointments. However, we are issuing this public notice to ensure that patients who may not yet have been contacted are made aware of the cancellation.

The QEH apologises for any inconvenience caused during this period of transition and thanks patients and members of the public for their understanding and cooperation as we undertake these improvements to enhance patient care and our healthcare facilities.

Patients are encouraged to share this information with relatives or others who may have upcoming appointments at the affected outpatient clinics.
