Parking Restrictions from Monday, November 25th, 2024
Please be advised of the following parking restrictions to be implemented on Monday 25th November 2024:
- No Parking on Road from Orderlies Gate to Radiation Storage Bunker
- On Monday 25th November 2024, from 5:00 am to midday, there will be a
parking restriction on the road leading from the Orderlies Gate to the
Radiation Storage Bunker. - This restriction is in place to ensure uninterrupted traffic flow for the
convoy delivering the new radioactive source to the bunker. - The area will be cordoned off by Security. Please ensure compliance with
all directions given by the Security Officers in the area.
- On Monday 25th November 2024, from 5:00 am to midday, there will be a
- No Parking near Physiotherapy and Mortuary
- No parking will be allowed in the area of the Physiotherapy and Mortuary
from 5:00 am to midday on 25th November 2024. - During this period, patients will be permitted to drop off only, but no parking
will be allowed.
- No parking will be allowed in the area of the Physiotherapy and Mortuary
- No Parking along Pathway to Bunker Doors or in Front of Sewing Department
- No parking will be allowed along the pathway to the bunker doors or in front
of the Sewing Department on 25th November 2024 until further notice.

These restrictions are necessary to facilitate the arrival and secure storage of the new Category 3 Cobalt 60 radioactive source, which will be installed into the Brachytherapy Treatment Unit.
Additionally, the outgoing source will be stored in the bunker until its export, which will occur at a time to be determined by the manufacturers.
We kindly ask that you adhere strictly to these parking regulations and cooperate with Security personnel to ensure the smooth operation of these procedures.
