Breastfeeding Month Art & Colouring Competition 2026

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital’s Breastfeeding Special Interest Group invites children to participate in its Breastfeeding Month Art and Colouring Competition, held in recognition of World Breastfeeding Week 2026.

Theme

Breastfeeding – Love, Nurture, Grow

Competition Categories

Art Competition: Ages 9–11

Participants must:

  • Submit artwork on white, letter-sized cardstock.
  • Use crayons, coloured pencils, markers, paint or mixed media.
  • Submit only original work created by the child.
  • Write the child’s name, age and school, along with the parent’s or guardian’s contact information, on the back of the submission.
  • Submit only one entry per child.

Colouring Competition: Ages 5–8

Participants must:

  • Use only the official colouring sheet provided by the organizers.
  • Use crayons, coloured pencils, markers or paint.
  • Follow the detailed rules and regulations attached to the flyer or colouring sheet.

Submission Details

Collection begins on Monday, July 20, 2026.

Completed entries must be submitted to the Front Desk at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital no later than 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2026.

We encourage parents and guardians to help their young artists participate as we celebrate breastfeeding through creativity and the powerful message of love, nurturing and growth.

This competition is organized by the Breastfeeding Special Interest Group of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital as part of World Breastfeeding Week 2026, under the theme:

“Breastfeeding for a Sustainable Start in Life: Strengthen What Works.”
