QEH Hosts 3rd Annual Diabetes Conference: “The Longest Journey Begins With a Single Step”

As part of the QEH 60th Anniversary celebrations, the Diabetes Clinic of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital is pleased to announce its 3rd Annual Diabetes Conference to be held on Tuesday, November 19th, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM at the National Union of Public Workers Horatio Cooke Auditorium, Dalkeith, St. Michael.

Themed “The Longest Journey Begins With a Single Step”, the conference aims to empower healthcare professionals, students, and the wider community with the latest knowledge and strategies in diabetes care and management. With diabetes being a critical health issue, this event is part of QEH’s ongoing efforts to improve awareness, treatment options, and patient outcomes in Barbados.

In-person registration is available at the Diabetes Clinic on Mondays and Thursdays from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Haematology Department. Alternatively, registration can be completed online via this link. Payments can be made to the Department of Financial Services at QEH.
