Emergency Ambulance Service Experiencing Technical Difficulties

The Board of Management of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital wishes to advise the public that the Emergency Ambulance Service (EAS) is currently experiencing technical difficulties in receiving calls via its 511 telephone number. As such, persons requiring this service are urged to contact the EAS at 536-3170.

The Board assures the public that the source of the disruption is being jointly investigated by the QEH Information Systems Department and the relevant telecommunications provider; and that every effort is being made to resolve this issue in a timely manner.
