Tender Notice: Request for Proposals for Information Technology Support Services
The Queen Elizabeth Hospital is inviting suitably qualified and experienced service providers to submit proposals for the Provision of Information Technology Support Services to support and augment the current staffing resources of the Information Systems Department.

Interested vendors are advised that full details of the Request for Proposal (RFP), including requirements and technical specifications, must be obtained through the Government of Barbados e-procurement portal at Government of Barbados via the Bonfire platform: https://gov-bb.bonfirehub.com/opportunities/185416
Any queries relating to the solicitation documents must be submitted through the messaging feature of the Government’s e-procurement portal no later than Friday, March 20, 2026. Vendors are reminded that when submitting questions through the Public Q&A section, no identifying information should be included.
All proposals must be submitted electronically through the Government’s e-procurement portal. Vendors who are not yet registered must first complete registration before submitting a proposal. Registration guidance is available at procure.gov.bb.
Corporate tenderers are required to submit a valid Certificate of Incorporation, Amalgamation, Amendment, or Continuance (or equivalent documentation for foreign bidders) as proof that the company is duly registered at the date of tender submission. The certificate must be issued in the name of the tenderer. Local companies should note that acceptable certificates must be issued under the 1985 Companies Act of Barbados, or where applicable, be a Certificate of Continuance, Amalgamation, or Amendment dated after December 31, 1984.
Tenderers who have already uploaded these corporate registration documents to their vendor profile on the e-procurement portal are not required to upload them again for future tender opportunities.
Tenderers are also advised that the Labour Clause (Public Contracts) Act, Cap. 349, where applicable, will apply to any contract awarded under this tender. Full details of the Act may be obtained from the Government Printing Department, Bay Street, St. Michael.
The deadline for submission of completed tender documents and all supporting materials is 11:30 p.m. AST on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
