Building Resilience: CLF Supports QEH Shutter Project to Protect Critical Care Areas
The Clara Lionel Foundation (CLF) continues to go above and beyond in supporting the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) — this time, by strengthening the hospital’s resilience to climate change through the Shutter Project.
In this feature, Director of Engineering Paula Agbowu explains how CLF’s funding is helping to safeguard critical areas such as the Intensive Care Units (ICUs) and Operating Theatres, ensuring patient safety even in severe weather conditions.
The project includes both manual and electrically operated shutters, and represents another major step in the hospital’s long-term climate resilience strategy.
