Temporary Traffic and Parking Diversions – Tree Trimming Exercise

Please be advised that temporary traffic and parking diversions will be in effect on Saturday, 23 May and Sunday, 24 May 2026 to facilitate the Engineering Department’s tree trimming exercise and related works around the Queen Elizabeth Hospital compound.

Saturday, 23 May 2026

  • Parking behind the QEH, including areas adjacent to Constitution Road and behind the Cafeteria/Pavilion, will be restricted.
  • ⁠Visitor parking areas, including spaces within and outside the fenced pasture area, will also be temporarily restricted.
  • ⁠Access through the back roadway will remain available for the Orderly Department, Food Storage Area, Mortuary, Laundry, Housekeeping Department, and Cafeteria deliveries.

Alternative Parking: Staff and visitors are encouraged to utilize:

  • Private Entrance Car Park
  • ⁠⁠Enmore Parking Area
  • ⁠Staff Parking by AED

Sunday, 24 May 2026

  • Rear parking areas (including QEH Constitution Rd carpark) will resume normal operations.
  • ⁠Tree trimming activities will continue near the Ambulance Drive area.
  • The Main Entrance will serve as both entrance and exit for Main Entrance services.
  • ⁠The QEH Exit will serve as both entrance and exit for the AED area.

Security personnel will be deployed throughout the affected areas on both days to guide and assist staff, patients, visitors, and members of the public with parking and traffic management.

All persons are kindly asked to cooperate with Security personnel and comply with the temporary traffic arrangements.
