The Queen Elizabeth Hospital wishes to advise the public that service to its PBX phone system has been fully restored.
On Wednesday, August 4, the QEH experienced a temporary service disruption which resulted in difficulty receiving calls via its PBX phone system. However, following a joint investigation by the QEH Information Systems Department and the relevant telecommunications provider the source of the disruption was identified and the issue resolved.

The Board of Management of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital wishes to advise the public that its PBX phone system is currently experiencing technical difficulties in receiving calls. Until the issue is resolved, persons are urged to contact the QEH at 429-6362, 836-3684, 836-3554, and 832-4697.
The Board assures the public that the source of the disruption is being jointly investigated by the QEH Information Systems Department and the relevant telecommunications provider; and that every effort is being made to resolve this issue in a timely manner.
