Happy Retirement Mr Cadogan!
On Wednesday, August 16, 2023, Management and Staff of the QEH and Emergency Ambulance Service (EAS) joined in celebration to extend thanks to Mr. Wendy Cadogan for 39 years of sterling service as Ambulance Officer at the EAS.
In her address Dr. Sonia Browne, Minister of Health and Wellness thanked Mr Cadogan on behalf of the Ministry and Government of Barbados for his invaluable contribution to the service.
She said “I’m sure during your tenure you were responsible for the training and mentorship of many of those who will now continue to provide this critical service under the banner of the EAS. A lot of the youngsters look up to you. Many of them made sure that your farewell today is being done in fine style. Many of them are also hoping they can emulate and follow in your footsteps.”
A pioneer EMT and paramedic, Mr Cadogan has left an indelible mark on countless lives over the last 4 decades with his commitment and dedication to the crucial work of the EAS.
Thank you, Ambulance Officer Cadogan, and best wishes for a fulfilling retirement!
