A Successful Partnership With The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

In November 2022, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints committed to provide food hampers for the outpatient services group of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.  Over the course of 2023, almost 500 food hampers were provided.  Each hamper contained almost fifty pounds of food and hygiene items.

In April of 2023, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints committed to purchase five new endoscopes and a reprocessor (endoscope cleaner) for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.  All the items were received at QEH by the end of January 2024.

In November of 2023, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints committed to purchase 15 new infusion pumps for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.  All the pumps were received at QEH by the end of January 2024.

In total, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints donated $712,000 BBD worth of food and equipment to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in 2023.

On February 12, 2024, we celebrated this successful partnership between the church and the hospital, as we invited the media to highlight some of the equipment received.
