Contact Numbers For COVID-19 Isolation Centres
The Board of Management of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital wishes to advise relatives of patients currently in government isolation of the following contact numbers for the COVID-19 Isolation Centres:
- Blackman & Gollop School
832-5155 - Lester Vaughan School
285-5768 - Queen’s College School
285-5766 - Savannah Beach Club Hotel
434-3800/ Ext 3812 - Sunbay Hotel
285-5767
Unfortunately, due to the unprecedented number of patients being admitted to the isolation facilities it has been difficult for medical and nursing staff to provide patient updates on one patient to multiple relatives; but staff remain committed to responding to queries in the shortest possible timeframe and providing regular updates to each patient’s listed next-of-kin.
Any next-of-kin seeking an update on the condition of their loved one in the isolation centres listed above is encouraged to call the centre between 7:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. daily. Similarly, any next-of-kin seeking an update on the condition of a loved one being cared for at the Harrison’s Point Isolation Centre is asked to call the Harrison’s Point Isolation Centre’s 24-hour Client Relations Help Desk at 538-9973. Additionally, relatives seeking information on the transfer of a loved one should also contact the Harrison’s Point Isolation Centre’s 24-hour Client Relations Help Desk at 538-9973 for assistance.
The Board understands that being in isolation is an extremely difficult experience for both patients and their loved ones, particularly for critically ill patients in Secondary and Primary isolation who may not be able to make direct contact with their relatives. It is with this in mind that every effort will be made to allay the concerns of family members, keep them abreast of any developments, and provide regular medical updates on the patient’s condition directly to the identified next-of kin.
